HERE’S LOOKING AT YOU KID

Beth contacted us here at Mackay K9 to help with her beautiful Weimaraner Meeko. Meeko already had lovely obedience skills but was starting to show signs of reactivity that was escalating very quickly when out walking. Beth and her partner had also just purchased a new puppy so didn’t want any of Meeko bad habits to rub off on the new one. We went back to basics with lots of engagement and foundation work. Reminding Meeko that he knew how to handle these different situations and how to behave accordingly. Now Beth can enjoy walking with both dogs, and with lots to great behaviour and obedience skills such as recall both dogs are able to have off lead time at the park.
